I looked long and hard before I decided on a teething blanket, but of course, my son isn't thrilled with it. I like that it has different textures and colors all around, and a crinkly center, but I think it is the crinkle that throws him off, and only one of the corners is actually rubber that he can really gnaw on. I would still recommend trying it though - it isn't an expensive item and I'm sure some babies just love it.
