I am new at the whole sewing thing, so I was very particular about what I bought. I wanted to invest in something a little more than just a simple sewing machine. I absolutely love this machine. Its very user friendly. It comes with a step-by-step DVD, as well as a manual. Once you do everything a couple of times (i.e. thread the needle, change the bobbin), you'll realize it's very easy. I've had mine for 3 months and so far so good :)
