I guess the CT30N is the newest drive that replaces the CT21N. The drive is a flawless replacement for the OEM drive in my Acer Aspire 7535 with Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium. The drivers installed automatically and without issue. Swapping the face plates takes longer than installing the drive, drivers, and player software combined. Blu ray playback requires additional software so I downloaded a free trial of PowerDVD 10 Mark II. No complaints so far!
