I purchased this product because of past experience with MTD, usually good machines. This product broke down after 3 hours of operation and will have been in the shop for 6 weeks since purchase. Amazon was very hands off on resolving my issue and I will not purchase anything other than a book from them in the future, if even that.
So I purchased a snow thrower that does throw snow and was is still in the shop. Totally useless for the second half of the winter and we have had record snow fall this winter in Baltimore.
Amazon has lost my confidence, my advise do not buy machinery over the internet.
